Can A Tivo Be Used For Video Surveillance How To Connect Tivo, Tv And Dvd Player?

How to connect tivo, tv and dvd player? - can a tivo be used for video surveillance

I have an old television set all the "holes" in the back are a single antenna port and the input and output video and audio input and output (4 total). If the composite cables for the DVD drive separately from the TiVo. To play DVDs that I unplug the antenna to the TiVo and put it in the DVD player and change the composite cable from TiVo to DVD. How do I sign myself, you can switch between DVD player and TiVo. I know I need some kind of splitter and do something with an s-out. in with the antenna on the roof. I do not have cable. Just for you TiVo for what television can receive digital TV can. The TiVo is a dual tuner, I do not know which model. IM in Australia and there is only 1 monthsCape (I think). I do not know what I need so the cable just to TiVo-DVD player to shoot without a cable red, yellow and white variation on the back of the TV from TiVo to DVD players and without the antenna cable to draw on the Tivo and it then on the DVD.

  1. You need a video switcher. Easy to find. If you have a Radio Shack nearby, they were sure that one fits your needs. You can use all your devices (DVD players, TiVo) him, and only a central line on the TV. Then you simply press a button on the switch to what you see. Easy

If not, I have a Radio Shack, retailers, electronics, and very cheap. Go to easy.

Here's one I found on Ebay Australia

  2. I've never been to Australia, so that things can work differently. As coach of the U.S. cable and technical trainer, I saw hundreds of DVD players, and I've never seen one with an antenna input. DVD Recorders, yes, but not the players. If you have a burner, you only need a two-way splitter to the RF (antenna) signal.

    I hope this is helpful.
